Director, Business Development

DESCRIPTION:

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a new market segment, lead marketing efforts, and actively contribute to aspects of Scout's evolution and growth planning at a customer segment level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, and build a marketing plan to support Scout's focus sectors. This marketing plan would include shared services from branding, performance marketing, and product marketing; Developing TAM/SAM forecasts; Creating and refining customer segments and personas; Integrated marketing plans with specific KPIs and forecasts across all the marketing channels; Track performance of campaigns to provide data-backed insights to optimize campaigns and find new opportunity areas, on monthly and quarterly basis; Build strong collaborative relationships and alliances with key internal and external teams and partners to prioritize and establish the team’s roadmap, delivering against clearly defined brand objectives while ensuring positive and productive team environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years’ business development, marketing communications, consumer products, brand marketing, or brand management, or large-scale B2B sales experience. Experience developing and executing large-scale integrated marketing campaigns. Experience partnering with external companies (partners, agencies, vendors, retailers),

Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends. Establish short-term and long-term marketing targets and then develop content strategies accordingly.

A proven track record of content creation and user engagement through social channels; Ability to build and engage an audience through the use of imagery, text, video, and audio channels; Deep understanding of sales, marketing, and the willingness to learn about AI processes; An understanding of how to connect with individuals through social posts and online channels.

Client Service & Onboarding Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

At Scout you will collaborate closely with our sales team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for our users. Your role will involve providing continuous client service support and working alongside our tech team to resolve any issues that arise. If you have a passion for marketing automation and enjoy helping customers achieve success, this is the perfect role for you! Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the sales team to facilitate smooth user onboarding.

  • Offering ongoing client service support to address user needs and inquiries.

  • Collaborating with the tech team to troubleshoot and resolve user issues.

  • Ensuring a positive and efficient user experience throughout the onboarding process.

  • Acting as a liaison between users and internal teams to improve our services.

  • Creating and maintaining documentation in our Help Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ demonstrable client service in the SaaS industry

  • Ability to communicate via Google Meet, Zoom, and Email

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualify and nurture new inbound Scout leads, as well as generate new leads and relationships; Develop new business through social and phone; Maintain and build relationships with existing clients by offering new products and services; Work to ensure sales targets are achieved; Coordinate with our Client Service team to ensure smooth onboarding practices.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years’ demonstrable client service or real estate experience; Ability to communicate via telephone, Facebook, and email; Deep understanding of CRM and CRM automation processes; An understanding of the residential real estate industry is required.

Inside Sales Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

If you love talking to new people and problem solving, this role is for you! A high-volume, fast-paced, hands-on position where you'll get tons of client exposure.

 

It will be up to you to qualify inbound leads, get to know their business goals, and walk them through how Scout can help them achieve them! Your primary methods of communication will be email, text message, phone, Zoom, and Loom, so you'll need to feel comfortable presenting in a 1:1  format.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years’ demonstrable phone-based sales or high-volume sales experience; Ability to communicate via telephone, Zoom, and email; organized and can work within the structure of a CRM; Experience working in the B2B SaaS industry is a plus.

Data and Engineering Internships

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work directly alongside our data and engineering teams to assist with building new and innovative tools that generate new leads, analyze market data, and improve the quality of real estate transactions and property data. Daily activities include: assisting to write code to acquire new data sets from various sources; visualization and exploration of existing data sets to recognize trends; Assisting to build new ETL processes, data hierarchies, innovative visualizations and dashboards, and work with AI and Machine Learning solutions to enhance our current processes and analytics.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should be detail-oriented and highly driven with excellent communication skills with the ability to bring reasoning, logic, and pattern matching to new projects. Advanced competency in Python and SQL are required. ​
